  • What die rolling methods are allowed when creating my character?

    For generating stats for your character you can choose between two die rolling methods.

    1. Roll 3d6, note the sum of the three dice. Do this six (6) times. You may assign the sic results to the attributes as you desire.
    2. Roll 4d6, drop the lowest and assign the sum of the remaining three dice to Strength. Repeat the process for Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma, in that order.

    If you do not like the set of abilities you have rolled, you can abandon the character and try again, using either method.

    Again, if you do not like the set of abilities you have rolled, you can abandon the character and try again using either method. However, this time I will roll the same way you are and whichever of our rolls is higher, that is the roll you keep. This third set is final and you need to make a character based on those stats. In rare cases I may allow a fourth set...generally only if the the third set contains two or more that are lower than 10.

  • What race of character can I play?

    Currently acceptable races are human, dwarf, elf, gnome, halfling, half-elf, or gnoblin.

  • What classes can I play?

    Classes are race dependent, but the standard book classes are currently the limit:
    Fighter, Paladin, Ranger
    Cleric, Druid
    Wizard, Specialist Wizards, Sorcerer (house rule)
    Thief, Bard

  • What alignments are allowed?

    I allow:
    Lawful Good, Neutral Good, Chaotic Good
    Lawful Neutral, Neutral,
    Lawful Evil.

    Chaotic Neutral, Neutral Evil, and Chaotic Evil are not allowed due to my philosophy of gaming. Characters need to function as a cohesive party and these three alignments do not allow for a consistent, long term reason to work with a party.
